Hurricane Katrina

This is just an excerpt from my reasearch paper: Ranked number 11th, fifth hurricane, third major hurricane, and second category 5 hurricane of the 2005 Atlantic season, hurricane Katrina was one of the most expensive and deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States. Ranked as the sixth strongest Atlantic Hurrincae ever recoreded and the third strongest land falling hurricane on record, Katrina gave a new and profound meaning to death and destruction.

Hurricane Katrina:Before and After the Storm

Hi, Im a student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. In my English Freshman Composition class, we are begining our first research papers. Our topic was one of our choice so I decided on Hurrican Katrina. In high school I did a paper on 911 entiled 911:Disaster, Destruction,Devastation. I made an A on the paper and thought that it was well written. Im looking forward to researching in debt about New Orleans and Mississippi, before and after the storm. Hurricane Katrina was one of the world’s most natural disasters. Killing thousands of innocent people in its pass, it also left a world of caose and contreversy.
